I get the feeling Greninja was intentionally given poor OoS options, given his slow standing grab, aerials, and upB, the fact that his upB isn't exactly an offensive tool, and his usmash being slow to hit to his sides. I thought perhaps all dash attacks have some unique formula, but I have not found another one with an abnormal amount of shieldstun.

Is there data on pivot grabs in the charts? It appears that you are using ad block :'(. To help with this, as you plug in your controller for player 2, hold the opposite direction on the control stick so that once the stick resets to neutral, it holds the intended direction.

I tested by going frame by frame and looking for upB, so I haven't tried this with double jump or air dodge. It's interesting and makes you play Greninja differently. Use shield to find your FAF. The lag on shuriken makes it predictable and easy to perfect shield, the reward is not high unless fully charged, and shadow sneak is far too laggy to be used to approach or even punish most of the time.
