British Redcoat 'Special Forces' 18th Century

Based on our two 1745 figures, this prototype figure uses the Redcoat head but is dressed like many Jacobite Officers using Redcoat trousers and cut down leggings. We designed and built it as inspiration for a new figure development.

The Figure Specification

Specification:

As standard British Redcoat with each item hand coloured and treated. The figure is fully dressed and ready for display on it's hand made diorama base. Delivery around two weeks from order.

History

History:

As 18th century troops were often in the field for weeks and some night actions required dark or blackened uniforms, the pristine sharp colours of their uniforms were sometimes altered to allow for movements to remain undetected by the enemy. This 'Special Forces' treatment offers a unique representation of 18th century 'covert' warfare.
