Edit. Key stats worth increasing through nature if possible. Braixen | Luna and Iceberg provide a larger source of burst damage than Moonbow. 40 (or 44 with a Defense Asset) is an interesting threshold of bulk where just a few additional buffs from her team lets Lyn take very little damage when fighting axe or other sword users. However, as it stands Laws of Sacae only finds itself giving the +4 Attack/Speed/Defense/Resistance benefit within Enemy Phase. Mumbo Jumbo | Falco Lombardi | Passive C: Time’s Pulse / Def Smoke  / Atk Smoke  / Spd Smoke / Player Preference. With her low Defense, even the weakest of archers will deal tremendous damage to her, so she should avoid these engagements at all costs. Luna and Iceberg can be used for one round Special activations if Legendary Lyn is running Flashing Blade. Passive B: Desperation / Lull Spd/Def / Chill Spd / Chill Def. Sol Katti's refinement gives Lyn her only niche compared to more newly released sword units by combining Desperation and Brash Assault once she reaches 75 % HP or less. Lyn's fourth appearance in Fire Emblem Heroes is one of her stronger incarnations. Lyn’s performance is poor before the Brazen activates however, making safely setting up the boost essential to her success. As a different benefit however, Fury makes Ploy skills much more reliable than they were before as it works well with Swift Mulagir’s inherent Resistance +3. It may not be what she would want most, but there are definitely benefits to be found. For those wishing to use Lyn (LA) purely offensively, her skill requirements become a bit more lenient. After refinement, however, things get a lot better. B alt: Vantage Attack is Lyn’s most important stat, without question. Sure, I could make her use my Mia-Armorsmasher build to become an anti-armor dragon slayer, but I wanted something a bit more unique and universal. +Spd allows Lyn to achieve follow-up attacks against fast opponents more easily, and protects her from enemy follow-ups. Lyn’s other big drawback is how much her power is reliant on HP thresholds. Pit | Dr. Mario | Tetra | Reposition is a generally useful movement assist that finds itself versatile for both helping allies move in or retreat after an action. If Bold Fighter is unavailable, Desperation 3 is a passable alternative, though Lyn (LA) will need more points in Speed through her boon stat and weapon refinement. Firstly, she benefits from every stat completely, and the extra speed goes really well with Special Fighter. Ken Masters | Captain Toad | Ashley | Spring Man | She's setup to avoid panic ploys and Aversa (for the most part) which is why she has an HP seal.
Special: Glimmer / Luna / Moonbow. (AR tank). Passive B: Null Follow-Up / Lull Spd/Def / Escape Route. Snivy | This is only preferable if Lyn takes Savage Blow in both slots, but can be a great tool to cripple enemy team compositions. The Flashing Blade Sacred Seal is a key component to the build because it gives Lyn the cooldown bonus needed to activate Galeforce frequently. Chef Kawasaki |

Ike | This can be very helpful in gamemodes where units tend to group together, such as Aether Raids, but offers no help in defeating Lyn’s primary target. Overall, Lyn is a very competent ranged flier whose biggest drawback is her blue coloration. Weapon: Sol Katti (+Spd, +Atk) Elffin | Pent | Louise | Klein | Clarine | Erk | Priscilla | Cecilia | Perceval | Douglas | Dieck | Saul | Dorothy | Yoder | Lucius, Sacae A slot: Flashing Blade 4 is what helps pull this build together. Rally Def/Res can be used if Legendary Lyn is not required to handle ranged tank duty at a moment, giving her a means to boost one of her allies. While not nearly as good as +Atk, a Speed Asset can be a helpful boost to Lyn’s combat ability. Lyn's fourth appearance in Fire Emblem Heroes is one of her stronger incarnations. Fox McCloud | Speed and Attack Assets are recommended, either to help Legendary Lyn secure natural follow-up attacks as well as avoid being follow-up attacked herself, or to give her counter attacks more of a punch. Complementary stats that matter, but not to the point of picking them over key stats for nature increase. Vulpix (Alolan) | Brazen Atk/Spd Seal requires Legendary Lyn to be damaged in order to make use of the boost, but once she has dropped to 80% HP or lower, she is rewarded with a +7 Atk and Spd boost, the largest offensive merit she can receive from a Sacred Seal. Chrom | It also pushes Lyn’s Resistance to a reasonable level of where Ploy skills can be considered without a Resistance Flaw. Moonbow is chosen for consistent Special activations and will activate in one round of combat, so long as Legendary Lyn is able to follow-up attack and nothing is slowing down her Special charging capability.

Firesweep Bow means that Legendary Lyn no longer requires Desperation, opening up her B Passive for different options. Relatively worthless stat that can safely be decreased through nature. Passive C: Time’s Pulse / Even Atk Wave / Player Preference.

Lugia | As such, it is best to leave her Speed at a neutral value to avoid these potential problems. Ploy choices can vary based on her role and team comp, but the selfish choices for Lyn are definately Spd and Def Ploys. Starfy | Mia | Dragon Fang is potent on an Attack Asset Lyn, otherwise Glacies tends to outperform if lacking the Attack Asset. With proper team support of Hone/Spur/Drive Atk effects, she can easily pass 60 Atk. The Lady of the Wind may be a Legendary Hero, but it is up to those who are willing to play on her strengths to make her Legendary by more than just namesake.

Weapon: Swift Mulagir Goomy | Ho-Oh | 37 base HP on an armored unit is quite poor, though this is easy enough to remedy. The rest of her kit can vary without having much influence on her playstyle. Owain | Cranky Kong, The Legend of Zelda franchise Tome alternatives: Blarblade+ (goes hand-in-hand with Att/Speed Bond, but note the slower cooldown, so activating Moonbow every battle will not be a reality) Xander | Camilla | Leo | Elise | Laslow | Peri | Severa | Beruka | Odin | Niles | Arthur | Effie | Jakob | Felicia | Gunter | Silas | Nyx | Benny | Charlotte | Keaton | Flora | Scarlet, Deeprealm Lana | Kirby | Atk/Spd Bond provides an impressive +5 boost to both stats, but this can be difficult to take advantage of due to the positioning requirement. Serra. Kumatora | While she doesn’t need to rely on Speed as much to obtain follow-up attacks thanks to Sol Katti, it will help her whenever Sol Katti does not activate, such as above the HP threshold or against an opponent that can’t counter. Focusing on Legendary Lyn's offensive potential, either Speed or Attack Asset is chosen to maximize her ability to rain arrows upon her enemies. Special: Galeforce Mobile - Fire Emblem: Heroes - Lyn (Brave Heroes) - The #1 source for video game sprites on the internet! An Attack Asset is greatly recommended, but a Speed Asset or even a Defense Asset will work fine as well, as they have some defensive properties that are beneficial for a mixed phase set. It is ideal to leave her Resistance intact compared to her other defensive stats in order to justify any Ploy skills used, and to keep her strong Magical Bulk. It forgoes the effect refine’s setup follow-up securance in exchange for higher Speed that works quite well with Null Follow-Up as Lyn does not have to worry about being stopped by follow-up blocking weapons and skills when running it. Time’s Pulse and Wrath activate at the same time once Wrath’s HP activation has been met, allowing for 2 Special cooldown charge at the start of a turn. | Even if dragging a heavy merged one to arena to make use of the Wind Blessing, she is better off running G Infantry Duel for scoring purposes. Rush | Brazen Atk/Spd is a massive boost to Attack/Speed, although it is not readily available unless Lyn is able to drop to 80% HP or less. The Firesweep Bow protects Lyn from all enemy attacks during Player Phase, allowing her to combat enemy units without fear of retaliation. Darkrai | Other A slot skills that focus more on speed, such as Swift Sparrow, Brazen Atk/Spd or Life and Death offer Lyn very little, and using them will make Lyn merely an inferior version of most other sword units out there. The thing with this build is that of all the skills here, the Desperation effect of Lyn's weapon is the only one that cares if you initiate or the enemy does. Preferred IV: +ATK,+Spd / -HP Marth |

At a value of 37, Lyn is very fast and can avoid follow-up attacks with good success. Before refinement, this sword simply granted Desperation 2, making it an overall underwhelming personal weapon. The extra Attack is useful to patch up Lyn’s poor Attack, while the Defense increase will help Lyn become more durable on the physical side which is useful for handling the Enemy Phase safer. Byleth | Takamaru, Earthbound/MOTHER series Dunban | Misango | Luna and Iceberg can be run in the event of either lacking Time’s Pulse, or possessing Time’s Pulse but choosing to not run Flashing Blade in the A Passive or Sacred Seal slot. This can also be replaced with Aether for healing, though that may take her out of Vantage range. It is great for lowering Lyn's CD for Galeforce and for giving her some much needed guaranteed damage. Legendary Lyn with neutral Attack, Swift Mulagir, and Laws of Sacae kicking in will reach a fairly decent 54 Attack before team support is taken into account. Villager | Twintelle |
